The verb for do, make largely follows the paradigm for munet but has a separate preterite stem gwroug-.

Devot Come

Come is mostly regular in the present, imperfect and imperative, formed on the stem dow- with regular endings.

Goobot Know

Like many European languages, Cumbraek has two words meaning to know. The first, goobot means to know a fact, to be knowledgeable of. In conjugation, this verb is highly irregular, particularly in the Present Tense. In the Preterite, Pluperfect and Imperative it follows the conjugation of bot to be.

Anawbot Know

Anawbot means to know a person, to recognise, to be acquainted with. It is formed on two stems: adoyn- is conjugated regularly in the Present and Imperfect and anawb- follows the conjugation of bot.

The verb geni (stem gan-) only occurs in the impersonal:

  • Present:  genir  is born, will be born
  • Imperfect:  genit  was born
  • Preterite:  ganat  was born
  • Pluperfect:  gensit  had been born
